Competition Team
Spotlight's Competition Company is open to dancers ages 4 and up. Dancers must audition for the competition company and be selected by the director. Auditions are held in the spring for the following season.
Competition Company dancers are required to take a minimum of 3 classes per week, which includes a technique class. Competition Company dancers are expected to maintain a professional attitude and work ethic, both in and out of the studio.
Competition Company dancers are required to attend all rehearsals, competitions, and performances. If a dancer is unable to attend a rehearsal or competition, they must notify the director as soon as possible.
Competition Company dancers are expected to be role models for the recreational dancers and represent Spotlight Dance in a positive manner at all times.

Auditions for the 2025–2026 Competition Company are open to all dancers ages 4 and up.

Christmas Recital
Our beloved Christmas Recital is held every December and features festive choreography across all classes. From tiny tots to advanced dancers, every student gets to shine on stage in a magical holiday production.
Spring Recital
Our Spring Recital is the grand finale of the dance year, celebrating a full season of growth, hard work, and achievement. Dancers perform the routines they have perfected throughout the year in a professional theater setting.
